Abstracts Wanted
If your work is of interest to the worldwide wire and cable industry, then it should be presented at IWCS.
 
Past article topics have included cable, fiber and conductor design, new cable materials, processing and manufacturing developments, network demands, assembly and installation techniques, cable components, connectivity, market studies, testing and standards.

Technical Abstract Deadline April 30, 2010
Poster Abstract Deadline April 30, 2010
Acceptance Notification June 12, 2010
Final Paper Due via online July 31, 2010
Submission Requirements
Abstracts can be submitted from industry or academic professionals, from any geographic location, who are engaged in the wire and cable or a related industry.
 
Acceptance of abstracts will be based on originality, content, applicability, market interest and clarity.
 
Papers submitted on accepted abstracts will be published in the 59th IWCS/IICIT Conference Proceedings.
How To Submit An Abstract
All Abstracts must be electronically submitted as an MS Word® document requiring the following:  Title, author(s) and description (300-500 words).
 
The abstract description should contain one or two illustrations and must address:
    a) Primary conclusion or result;
    b) Background - why work was undertaken; and
    c) Pertinent details of the work which indicate the significant finding of the work.
 
This year we will continue our "on-line" abstract submittal process. Once you are ready to submit an abstract for consideration, click on the "ABSTRACT FORM" button below and you will be presented with our official Abstract Submittal Form.
 
Simply fill in ALL the blanks on the form, attach your Abstract (MS Word® document) as instructed and click the "SUBMIT" button at the bottom of the form.
 
Your input will be reviewed immediately for any missing items and you will receive a prompt confirmation along with an assigned abstract number that you should use in subject line for all correspondence to IWCS.
 
IMPORTANT - To avoid duplication of abstract, please submit only once. If you want to update your abstract, have problems submitting, or you are not sure if your abstract was submitted, please contact the IWCS Office by calling Pat Hudak (+1-732-389-0990) or send an email to phudak@iwcs.org.
