The Plenary Session will feature a Keynote Presentation by a distinguished business and thought leader in the global cable and connectivity industry. Also, recognition will be given for the Outstanding Technical Paper and Best Presentation from the previous year’s conference. The session is open to all Technical Symposium registered attendees.
The Executive Session presents important information you need in managing your business. Presentations by key industry analysts and market experts will feature vital industry data of the fiber and copper markets, along with the general economic outlook. A panel of industry experts / CTO’s will provide insightful perspectives and answer your questions on Connectivity Technology Trends, Critical Infrastructure and the requirements for Hyper-Scale Data Centers. Professional Development Program
The Professional Development / Training courses constitute an industry-recognized certification program, featuring Core courses in fiber, copper and materials offered annually. The three Core courses will provide basic technology information helpful to those new to the industry. Participants have the opportunity to achieve a certificate of recognition for completing each of the core courses.
Additional Elective courses are selected from a series of emerging technologies and practices and are offered approximately every two years. The elective courses will deliver current, leading edge topics on areas of interest to engineers, scientists and other cable and connectivity professionals. 2018 Course Descriptions
The cornerstone of our Conference, the IWCS Technical Symposium is recognized as the premier technical symposium for the cable and connectivity industry. At the annual conference, we will present well over 100 new and previously unpublished papers on innovations for cable and connectivity materials, connector/interconnect technologies, cable designs, components, fabrication, performance, testing and applications. Sessions will begin on Monday morning and end late afternoon on Wednesday.
