2020 Plenary Session

The Plenary Session features a Keynote Presentation by a distinguished business and thought leader in the global cable and connectivity industry. Recognition will be given for the Outstanding Technical Paper and Best Presentation from the previous year’s conference. The session is open to all Technical Symposium registered attendees.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COURSES

The Professional Development / Training courses constitute an industry-recognized certification program, featuring Core Courses in fiber, copper and materials offered annually. The four Core Courses will provide basic technology information helpful to those new to the industry.

Participants have the opportunity to achieve a certificate of recognition for completing each of the courses. Over time, students completing the four core courses, along with two electives offered during live-event years, will be presented with an IWCS Professional Development achievement plaque.

TECHNICAL SYMPOSIUM

The cornerstone of our Conference, the IWCS Technical Symposium is recognized as the premier technical symposium for the cable and connectivity industry. We will present well over 100 new and previously unpublished papers on innovations for cable and connectivity materials, connector/interconnect technologies, cable designs, components, fabrication, performance, testing and applications.

In addition to attending the live presentations, attendees can watch all presentations ON DEMAND through November 27, 2020!

The IWCS 2020Virtual exhibit Hall Supplier Exhibition will include exhibitors from various levels of the Cable & Connectivity Supply Chain. This will enable you to learn about the wide variety of commercial product technologies and applications.

There will be two dedicated Supplier Exhibition Days with no Technical Session conflicts. The booths can be viewed during the entire conference and through November 27, 2020!

20 New Product Presentations, given during the Supplier Exhibition days, provide an opportunity for Suppliers to report on new commercial product developments.
